Night Safari in Panama

Night Safari at Soberania

Want a real adventure? Enjoy incredible Soberania National Park – at night! A night safari is a favourite trip for families, adventurers, professional photographers, scientists and animal lovers. You’ll see some specific species of animals that are very difficult to see on a day trip. You might find the biggest rodents in the work, the hundred-pound Capibaras. We often spot deer, armadillos, kinkajou, night monkeys and more. For birds, we may see owls, potoo, or common pauraque. Plus, we could fine reptiles such as red eye frongs, sneaks, caiman, crocodiles, tungara, bullfrogs and more.

This trip goes to the famous Pipeline Road, an old US army road. It’s a slow walking safari that starts at about 7pm. We gather at your Panama City hotel, or your accommodation near the park such as the Gamboa. We’ll return by midnight at the latest.
